Restaurant Award Procedures

WHO MAY PARTICIPATE

Luxury restaurants operating within any luxury or niche market offering high quality food and service may proceed with participation.
 

HOW IT WORKS

This is a consumer based programme whereby your guests submit reviews about your establishment to the organisers.
 
Winners are announced and presented with their recognition on the World Luxury Restaurant Awards™ Official Website, via newsletter and via social media. The final outcome will be based upon votes per category on a country, continent and global basis. 
 
Upon registration and once the Awards outcome has been announced the official World Luxury Restaurant Awards™ marketing logos will be provided to each participating venue. Participants should update their email signatures, websites, marketing brochures, press material and other marketing related areas with the official material in order to create maximum awareness.
 
The World Luxury Restaurant Awards™ Restaurant Guides are available for distribution on an annual basis to promote all participants on the global front. Travel agents, tour operators and hotel guests can also use this as a guideline to book luxury dining experiences for their clients and or guests.
 

NOMINATIONS

In order to participate in the World Luxury Restaurant Awards™, restaurants can be nominated by guests, food critics, bloggers and other relevant experts, they can also nominate themselves. Successful nominations will be invited to participate in the World Luxury Restaurant Awards™.
 
Luxury restaurants are approved for nomination based on the following criteria:
  • interior design to a high standard - the seating area/table decoration should reflect a smart/stylish atmosphere
  • good quality food, to the standard of haute cuisine - the head chef must serve food with excellent presentation, showing attention to detail
  • excellent service reviews - the restaurant should have positive reviews and be well recommended for excellent service
Nominations can be promoted by participating restaurants to create maximum awareness and attract votes by means of the official voting button that will be provided in advance.
 
World Luxury Restaurant Awards™ may send an official representative to visit at any time after this nomination and will give notification prior to visiting any of the nominated venues. Each year, winners from the previous year will automatically be nominated for the following year’s awards. COST

There is a once off annual registration fee of GBP350 which covers all marketing/promotional material and advantages mentioned under Advantages of Participation. There are different categories applicable to entrants. Each restaurant may select one category. Each additional category is charged at GBP110.
 

HOW TO ENTER

  1. Read our Terms & Conditions.
  2. Complete the Online Registration Form.
  3. Send 5 High Resolution images, including some signature dishes and your logo (JPEG format) to info@luxuryrestaurantawards.com.
  4. The registration fee must be paid within 7 working days from the date of entry, with proof of payment provided.
     

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

How to Successfully Register to Participate:
  • Complete the online registration form and submit.
  • Send at least 5 high resolution photographs of the restaurant interior, including some signature dishes and your logo, to info@luxuryrestaurantawards.com. Compile a short description of the style or type of restaurant, any unique features or outstanding attributes. This description will be used on the restaurant's online profile as well as for various media features. Descriptions should not exceed a maximum of 150 words.
  • Settle the registration fee within 7 working days from entry date and submit the proof of settled invoice.
  • The participating restaurant must update all marketing material with the official World Luxury Restaurant Awards™ Marketing Logo – this is compulsory. Guidelines on where to implement the nominee logo to create maximum awareness will be provided by the World Luxury Restaurant Awards™. This will assist with generating votes during the annual voting process. It is compulsory to utilize marketing logos provided to confirm that the restaurant is an official participant. Once results are announced winner/finalist logos should also be implemented from the side of the restaurant.
  • Images and information that you send us will be used by us for any purpose, will not be subject to confidential treatment and may be disclosed by us without further consent from participants.
  • World Luxury Restaurant Awards™ retain the right to disqualify entries.
  • Should there be any information changes on the side of the participating restaurant, this should be emailed to info@luxuryrestaurantawards.com in order to update the company profile. Should any information changes (e.g. contacts, name changes, category changes) not be communicated with the World Luxury Restaurant Awards™, we will not be held responsible for incorrect profile information.
  • Authorized company representatives who submit entries will be our main point of contact unless we are otherwise notified.
  • When a restaurant re-registers from one year to another, existing images and descriptions of the restaurant will be used unless we receive the updated version within 7 days from entry date.
  • Registrations can be paid via EFT/Credit Card.
  • Registration invoice to be settled within the given time-frame.
  • The full registration fee should reach the World Luxury Restaurant Awards™ account, thus provision should be made for any charges that may occur due to transferring of funds.
  • Proof of payment is required and should be emailed to info@luxuryrestaurantawards.com.

Cancellation Policy

  • 0% Refund.
  • Registration fees are not refundable.
  • No cancellations will be accepted once entries have been successfully submitted.
  • The company will be held liable for payment of the once-off administration fee as well as any legal costs resulting from failure to pay.
By submitting the administration form, the company agrees to officially participate in the World Luxury Restaurant Awards™ for 1 year.
